INCOSE UK Chapter Training Day 8th June 2016

Training day presentation

Overview of the Training Day

INCOSE UK is offering four one day courses for the 2016 Training Day. All of these provide an opportunity to update or extend your SE skills under the guidance of acknowledged experts in the application of SE.

Training Course 1 - How to Systems Think

Stuart Burge is presenting his ever popular course on How to Systems Think. Systems thinking is a core skill for systems engineers and this course provides an excellent grounding in the subject.

Training Course 2 - Systems Engineering for Interfaces

Hazel Woodcock and Paul Davies are presenting a course on Systems Engineering for Interfaces. This is another tried and tested course that covers an essential aspect of SE.

Training Course 3 - An Introduction to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

No training day would be complete without a course on MBSE. Simon Perry and James Towers will be presenting An Introduction to Model-Based Systems Engineering which provides a complete overview of MBSE and includes advice on how to implement it in your organisation.

Training Course 5 - INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook Training

Last but by no means least, we offer a course to introduce the INCOSE SE Handbook, which will be presented by Ian Presland. Apart from giving an overview of the content, the course discusses how this relates to the SEP examination.

The registration fee is £300 (ex VAT) for INCOSE members and £360 (ex VAT) for non-members. Non-members who sign up for annual membership of INCOSE at the time of registering for the event (£105) will be charged at the member rate. The student and retired members registration fee is £200 (ex VAT).

At least 6 registrants are required for a training session to be run and there is a maximum of 15 places on each training course. Book early to secure a place on your chosen training course and ensure that it has enough participants to run.
